2. Who can access the GTO Preflop Matrix?
The GTO Preflop Matrix is available to Edge and Mastery members. Once you are logged in, the tool is accessible directly from our homepage under the study tab. No additional setup or activation required.
3. How was this tool created?
The GTO Preflop Matrix was built through extensive solver work focused specifically on Short Deck multiway environments. We ran independent preflop simulations across the most common stack sizes and table configurations, carefully selecting scenarios that occur most frequently in real games.

All solutions were calculated with rake applied to reflect real-money conditions, then reviewed and organized into a structured, easy-to-use matrix. The result is a practical reference tool that condenses hundreds of complex solver outputs into an accessible format designed for efficient study and preparation.
4. Can I use this tool while playing?
The GTO Preflop Matrix is designed primarily for off-table study and preparation. It allows players to quickly review optimal strategies and understand range construction before playing. We advise you to not use them while playing online, as this could get you banned from the poker site.
5. Are these charts with rake included - from which site?
Yes. All preflop solutions in the matrix are solved with rake applied, ensuring that the strategies reflect real-money game conditions rather than idealized rake-free environments. We made sure to create them with the standard rake considered of games from NL200 and upwards, meaning 5% 1.5a cap for all charts except 3-way, which is 0.75ante cap. This is the standard rake that you will find on GG, but PokerStars is very similar to this.
6. What sizings have been solved?
The solver uses limp, potsize and all-in, 3bet all-in. E.g. potsize ISO raise for 3-way would be 7 ante, while 5way it’s 9 ante after one limper.
7. 5-way 30ante charts with limps and no limps explained:
We have split the 5-way 30ante chart tool into two parts. One is “with limps” which covers a GTO strategy in which we limp as well with some hands, even though it is rather rare and the other strategy is “no limps” in which we either shove or fold.
8. Can I download the charts?
The matrix itself is interactive and web-based. For offline reference, we also provide downloadable PDF starting hand charts separately.
